John Balletto is a licensed massage therapist (RI Lic MT--00194) in private practice in the Historic Pawtucket Mills building at the Providence and Pawtucket city lines. He is a past national Vice President of the American Massage Therapy Association and a Past President of the Massage Therapy Foundation. Currently, John is a professional member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, and the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education. He also serves as the Chair, RI State Board of Licensed Massage Therapists.
In addition to his private practice, John is on the Faculty of the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro, ME and serves as the massage therapist for several professional and collegiate teams including the Providence College Track, Field and Cross Country Teams and the University of Rhode Island Women's Track, Field, and Cross Country Teams.
John also authored a chapter titled Functional Taping in the newly published text Integrative Pain Management: Massage, Movement and Mindfulness Based Approaches.

John enjoys gardening, cycling, canoeing, classical music, birdwatching, photography, beekeeping. He and his wife, Janet, live in Warwick, Rhode Island.
